Ruti needed a way to store product-report data against Shopify customer records and make those reports available through customer pages. AESYMMETRIC built a custom Shopify app to connect the team's report-management workflow with the storefront experience.

The challenge
More than a standard theme update.
The workflow needed more than a standard theme update. Staff had to find the right customer, manage multiple reports over time, attach supporting files, and pass the correct report data back to the storefront.
What AESYMMETRIC did
One purpose-built report system.
AESYMMETRIC created an embedded Shopify app that synchronized customer records and gave authenticated staff a searchable customer list with per-customer report management.
The app supported creating, editing, ordering, and deleting reports; attaching PDF files; controlling report sections; and returning structured report data for customer-page use.
AESYMMETRIC handled the app build, theme integration, QA, deployment, and ongoing support.
The outcome
The workflow, connected.
Ruti received a dedicated Shopify-connected system for managing and delivering customer reports. The app brought customer lookup, report editing, file delivery, and storefront data into one purpose-built workflow. Last reviewed September 9, 2026.
